Lets all just cry about it.

Censorship of television shows is a pretty big topic in today’s society. For each passing year we show more and more on television and there are a lot of people out there that don’t like it. I however am not one of those people; I enjoy the more graphic shows and the profane language used on many of these shows. Everyone complains about the stuff shown on television saying that they should be censored by the people making them when every single television set out there today has parental locks and child safety locks to lock channels. If you think something is to gory and you don’t want your kids to see it then wouldn’t be easier to not let them watch it instead of writing the TV studios and complaining. I will agree that there are some pretty gory TV shows on the air these days but on the other hand no one is making you watch them. It’s like you tell you kids all the time nobody likes a tattle tail so quit ruining it for everyone else that enjoy these shows. The way I see it if all you are spending your time doing is complaining about what is on television maybe you should get a hobby because if you have enough free time to skim through the channels to complain about what you see then you have way too much time on your hands. The problem nowadays isn’t the stuff  being shown on TV and the fact that your kids might see it; the problem is what ever happened to taking your kids to the park to play or going out in the yard and playing catch with your kids or some other games. This country has become so damn lazy that people would rather just have family TV time instead of getting out and having fun with your kids.

Topic free writing

My computer has been messed up pretty bad and it finally let me log in to attempt to do my blog and i have less than 8 minutes to do it so here goes. I have been thinking hard about the topic I want to use for my second paper and I'm still unsure. I am thinking about going with censorship of television shows. I believe that would be a good one to roll with because I very much enjoyed going on about that in my first blog. I have also been thinking about writing on how ignorant I find religion in general to be. I think that I am putting too much thought into these papers and that is why I am struggling so much, I need to just relax and let it come to me as I go. The main thing I touched on in my first blog about censorship was how dumb it is for people to watch things they don't want to watch just so they can complain about it. But I have like 30 seconds so I hope this works.

Just another topic

The first Nba season began in 1946 has grown and changed a lot over the past 65 years. When the game first began there was no three point line the game was played by only two pointers. The initial rules for the nba that were chosen in 1945 were each team played a 60 game schedule followed by playoffs of the top 3 teams in each division, all games were 48 minutes long, all players were allowed 6 personal fouls, every time a team score the other team got the ball back, and zone defenses are allowed. Now they have added things to change the game dramatically over the years like lengthening the lane from 6 feet to 12 feet because of the dominant play by a player named George Mikan and then later lengthened again from 12 to 16 feet because of Wilt Chamberlain. In 1979 they added the 3 point line that was 22 feet from the basket in the corners and 23 feet from the basket at the top of the key.( lane ) They lengthened the season to 82 games now and changed the 3 point line to an even 22 feet all the way around the basket. Players are only allowed 5 fouls before they are out of the game and of coarse the apparel has changed to much longer shorts. There has been a ton of rule changes, way to many to list on here but if you would like to see all of them here is a link for the web site that I found all of them on. http://www.nba.com/analysis/rules_history.html
